Artist Karen Gallup has been an educator, a metalsmith and now a studio artist
concentrating on collage.
Karen was born and raised in Midland. She has a BFA from Michigan State University and a MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Jewelry and Metalsmithing.Karen taught Art Education classes at Delta College and Jewelry and Metalsmithing at The College for Creative Studies in Detroit.She has shown at numerous venues in Michigan and elsewhere and has won prizes with both collage and sculpture.
Karen lives in Ann Arbor with her husband, two cats and a dog.
